The first layers of glass are blown, while molton, the secondary glass strips and colors, shapes and sizes are applied in random paterns, colors, shapes, into the original layers of glass. The craftsmen then fuse the different layers of glass togeather causing the piece to become thicker and also allows the artist to form the glass into a more naturally flowing shape. The result allows light to spread evenly across the glass resulting in a warm glow over the entire surface.
